Greentown Labs and ExxonMobil want startups at TRL 3 to 7 building advanced carbon materials -- from graphitic and non-graphitic carbons to carbon nanomaterials and diamond-based materials -- that unlock new performance in energy storage, industrial systems, transportation, aerospace, construction or filtration. Innovations must show a credible path to industrial-scale deployment and commercialization at a market-supported cost, not just a lab breakthrough.
