The Commission wants a Coordination and Support Action that helps grow the pipeline of renewable and low-carbon marine fuel projects, by giving hands-on project-development support to at least 20 proposals so they can apply to schemes like Horizon Europe, the Innovation Fund, CEF AFIF or EIB loans. Proposals should also build a financial modelling tool for assessing project viability and run workshops connecting fuel-project developers with financial institutions.
