Funds research teams building the next generation of European climate data records, reanalyses and emissions datasets that underpin EU climate monitoring.

The European Commission wants research consortia to improve the climate data records, Earth-system reanalyses and emission/forcing datasets used to track the Paris Agreement and EU climate objectives. Proposals pick one of three priority areas: new climate data records, next-generation reanalyses, or updated forcing and emission datasets, and are expected to use AI-based and digital tools to turn this data into usable climate intelligence.
