Sustainable and healthy diets based on health status and socio-economic risk factors of ageing population
Funds one consortium to build dietary guidance and easy-to-chew, nutrient-enriched food recommendations for older Europeans at risk of malnutrition.
This is a single-stage Coordination and Support Action with an indicative 2026 budget of EUR 2,000,000, expected to fund one project. Proposals should involve economic and psychological expertise and build on findings from the earlier FP7 projects NU-AGE and OPTIFEL.
This call wants a project that maps the dietary needs and vulnerabilities of Europeans over 65, then produces healthy and affordable diet programmes for Member States to use in care homes and home care. It wants identification of innovative easy-to-chew foods enriched with specific nutrients for this population, plus prevention campaigns for diet-related disease.
