Funds projects that test and demonstrate agricultural innovations on real farms, with money to pass on to startups and SMEs whose solutions get showcased.
Grants aren't awarded purely by ranking: to keep the portfolio balanced across the two focus areas, the Commission also funds the highest-ranked proposal within each area, A and B, as long as it clears every scoring threshold, even if it wouldn't have made the cut on ranking alone.
