This pilot funds a 'Champions League' network of leading startup and scaleup hubs — accelerators, science and technology parks, innovation clusters or venture builders tied to a university or research organisation — that open cross-border access to talent, capital, infrastructure and mentoring for deep-tech startups, including EIC-backed ventures. Priority sectors named in the call document include artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced semiconductors, medical technology, biotechnology, cleantech and energy (including nuclear), security, defence, space, robotics and advanced materials.
