Eurostars Call 11 (UK)
Funds United Kingdom firms in multinational innovation consortia for export readiness.
Eurostars Call 11 is the September 2026 UK participation round of the Eureka Eurostars 3 programme, administered and funded for UK applicants by Innovate UK. Eurostars is an international R&D programme designed for SME-led consortia that wish to co-develop market-oriented products, processes, or services with partners from multiple Eurostars-eligible countries. Call 11 closes in September 2026 and is the active upcoming round following Call 10, which closed in March 2026.
Under UK funding terms, eligible UK SMEs can receive up to EUR 360,000 (approximately GBP 300,000) per project, at a funding rate of up to 60% of eligible project costs; applicants are responsible for the remaining 40%. The UK participant must form part of an international consortium led by an SME from a Eurostars-eligible country, though the UK entity need not lead the consortium. Universities and research organisations may join as non-lead partners. All eligible costs must relate to work performed by the UK partner, and the UK entity must be registered in the UK. Eurostars denominations are in EUR; Innovate UK disburses the GBP equivalent at prevailing exchange rates.
To build a competitive Call 11 bid, UK applicants should identify an SME lead from a Eurostars member country early and confirm consortium structure before the September 2026 deadline. Projects are assessed on scientific quality, innovation potential, and commercial impact. The full call details and exact closing date are published at eurekanetwork.org; UK-specific guidance is available from Innovate UK's international programmes team.
International collaborative R&D across any technology sector, led by an SME from a Eurostars-eligible country with a UK SME as a consortium partner.
