Demonstrating solutions to help hotspots in coastal regions to adapt to climate change
Funds consortia to demonstrate climate resilience solutions — nature-based, digital or governance — in at least three coastal hotspot regions across different EU countries.
This call runs as a single-stage Horizon Europe Innovation Action, one of six topics sharing the HORIZON-MISS-2025-01 call for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. The funder wants demonstrated, co-designed solutions for coastal climate risks such as sea-level rise, coastal erosion and saltwater intrusion, with nature-based and blue-green infrastructure prioritised. Proposals must run demonstrations in at least three coastal regions in different Member States or Associated Countries, with at least one in a recognised climate hotspot area.
