Meristems Student Grant-in-Aid Program
Funds ANGRAU-incubated agri-students up to Rs 4 lakh to build startup prototypes.
Run by the ANGRAU Poshan Incubator under the government-backed RKVY-RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubation Scheme, the program pairs a one-month training and internship inside the incubator with grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 4 lakh to turn an idea into a prototype or market-ready product. Selected students also get mentoring, lab access, shared office space, IP support and product-testing facilities.
The program looks for Andhra Pradesh students with innovative ideas or proof-of-concept work in agriculture and allied sectors who want to build an agri-startup. Applicants must complete the mandatory one-month incubation training and keep up consistent performance to qualify for the grant.
