An Indian for-profit company and a Swedish company jointly lead a project of up to 24 months, with each side applying to and funded by its own national agency. Applicants on the Indian side must already have basic infrastructure or test beds and a working proof of concept before applying, not just an idea. India's DST, through TDB, grants Indian participants up to 50% of costs capped at Rs150 lakh

The programme funds joint Indo-Swedish applied R&D projects on the green transition in the steel and cement industries. Sub-themes include AI applications for emissions measurement and management, more efficient and sustainable production processes, alternative low-carbon materials to replace steel and cement, and tools to measure the societal and environmental impact of the transition.
