Mukhyamantri Hunar Vikas Yojana - Self-Employment/Business

Pays Rajasthan's Palanhar-scheme trainees up to Rs50,000 to start their own business.

The scheme is implemented at the state level by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and at the district level by the Deputy Director or Assistant Director of the same department. If setting up the business costs more than the sanctioned grant, the beneficiary has to cover the difference themselves; the state only pays up to Rs 50,000 or the actual or estimated cost, whichever is lower

The scheme supports Palanhar Scheme beneficiaries in Rajasthan — children raised under state care — who have finished vocational training and now want to set up their own trade or small business. The business must match the skill the beneficiary trained in, not any unrelated venture.
