Funds AI and AgriTech prototypes tackling agricultural challenges in Maharashtra.
Funded teams get seed money for research and prototyping plus mentorship and technical guidance from the program, along with access to MahaAgri-AI Center datasets and sandboxes. Track 1 of Maharashtra's AI & AgriTech Innovation Center backs the earliest stage of innovation: novel ideas and prototypes that apply AI, generative AI and data tools to agricultural problems. It is open to first-time agritech entrants as well as seasoned researchers, as long as the idea is genuinely new. The program sits inside the state's wider Maha Agri-AI Policy, which is pushing AI across the whole farming value chain.
