The programme looks for young innovators holding an idea or prototype that uses information and communications technology to answer a national priority. Named priority domains are healthcare, education, agriculture, financial inclusion and digital payments, infrastructure and transport, environment and clean technology, and clean energy, with room for other emerging areas. Entrants must be Indian citizens, and at least one member of the team has to commit to the venture full time.
