Offers grants up to INR 5 lakh plus mentoring to early-stage North East India startups.
IIMA Ventures runs this program with SAP, funnelling applicants through an online application, a shortlist of about 25 startups invited to a 3-day bootcamp in Guwahati, and a final round of 10-12 selected startups who receive catalytic grants of up to INR 5 lakh each. The program supports early-stage startups operating in India's North Eastern states -- Sikkim, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur -- incorporated no more than two years before the program starts. It prioritises agri and rural-livelihoods ventures, alongside social enterprises in food, agribusiness, agroforestry, crafts, traditional textiles, ethnic tourism and financial inclusion.
