Startup Agri-Business Incubation Program (SABIP)
Offers agribusiness startups up to INR 25 lakh in grant-in-aid through incubation.
Selected applicants first go through roughly a month of mentoring plus technical and business validation of their prototype, then pitch to a panel of experts. Startups chosen at that stage move into a longer incubation phase, described on the page as running one to one and a half years, with mentoring, market linkages, pilot opportunities, and the grant-in-aid paid out in milestone-based tranches.
The program is aimed at early-stage agribusiness ideas and startups in India's agriculture and allied sectors. It looks for ventures in farm mechanization, precision agriculture, agri supply chain and logistics, post-harvest and food technology, agri-fintech, agri-biotech, natural resource management, and waste-to-wealth or green energy.
