The centre backs incorporated startups building renewable energy and climate-tech solutions — solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, smart grids, EV/energy access, and related manufacturing or digital tools — with a working prototype or validated solution (TRL 3+). Karnataka-based startups are prioritised, but any Indian startup with clear relevance to Karnataka's energy ecosystem may apply.
