Supports Indian renewable-energy and climate-tech startups with a free, 12-month incubation cohort.
Each of the three named partners plays a distinct role: FSID at IISc contributes research-backed product refinement, technical validation and lab access; KREDL's contribution runs through Karnataka's own energy ecosystem, with introductions to DISCOMs, routes into government pilots, corporate partnership matchmaking and help navigating regulatory requirements; and UNSW Sydney runs masterclasses an…
The centre backs incorporated startups building renewable energy and climate-tech solutions — solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, smart grids, EV/energy access, and related manufacturing or digital tools — with a working prototype or validated solution (TRL 3+). Karnataka-based startups are prioritised, but any Indian startup with clear relevance to Karnataka's energy ecosystem may apply.
