International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre (ISC3)

ISC3 Innovation Challenge 2024 (Sustainable Chemistry for Textiles)

Awards €15,000 to the best sustainable-chemistry startup fixing a problem in the textile industry.

Startups and innovators worldwide apply during a set window; an international jury picks finalists, who get pitch training, networking and support through the ISC3 Global Start-up Service before pitching at the ISC3 Investor Forum. The top idea wins EUR 15,000, and two further category winners -- Best Regional Impact and Best Social/Special Impact -- each win EUR 5,000.

ISC3 wants sustainable-chemistry ideas for the textile sector: cleaner production that substitutes out harmful chemicals, alternative fibres and materials from waste streams, recycling and waste-minimising manufacturing, and new business models like chemical leasing or supply-chain social entrepreneurship.
