Commercialization Competition

Awards up to $150,000 in non-dilutive cash to New York State manufacturing and technology companies that pitch how they'll take an existing prototype to market.

ClosedFuzeHubUnited States

FuzeHub runs the Commercialization Competition annually as part of its Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund, backed by New York State's NYSTAR programme. Companies apply online, and finalists are invited to present live in person in Buffalo, NY before winners are chosen; the 2026 cycle opened July 6 and closed August 10, with finalists notified in late September and live presentations October 27-28.

The competition is open to small manufacturing and technology companies in New York State that already have a working prototype and want to fund further development, go-to-market planning, or steps toward additional investment and customers. It is not for companies still at the concept stage.
