The Commission funds Standard Action Projects that help the EU become a climate-resilient society by 2050, in line with the EU Adaptation Strategy, the Paris Agreement and the European Climate Law. Eligible areas span implementing or revising climate adaptation policies and strategies, deploying climate-risk assessment tools, nature-based solutions for rural, urban and coastal areas, climate-proofing infrastructure and buildings, adaptation in agriculture and forestry, water management, climate and health, preparedness for compound and cascading risks, and financial or insurance innovation for climate risk.
