The Commission funds Standard Action Projects that help deliver the European Green Deal's target of cutting net EU greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% versus 1990 levels by 2030. Eligible areas span recovery and recycling of ozone-depleting substances and fluorinated gases, the shift to zero-emission road transport and decarbonising other transport modes, boosting renewable energy generation and energy efficiency, cutting emissions from industrial production and waste management, land and coastal carbon-sink management, and industrial carbon capture, use or storage.
