The LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme wants projects that help Member State authorities put two key pieces of EU energy law into practice: the Energy Efficiency Directive (Scope A) or the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (Scope B). Scope A covers areas like the Energy Efficiency First principle, public-sector energy targets, energy savings obligation schemes, and the comprehensive heating and cooling assessments authorities must carry out. Scope B covers public awareness of EPBD benefits, rolling out its policy tools toward a climate-neutral building stock, and building data and information systems the directive requires.
