The Commission funds Standard Action Projects that help the EU reach a climate-resilient future by 2050, covering areas like national and regional adaptation strategies, climate risk-assessment tools, nature-based solutions for rural, urban and coastal areas, climate-proofing of infrastructure and buildings, and adaptation for agriculture, forestry and water management. Proposals can also address health impacts, compound and cascading climate risks, and innovative insurance or financing tools for adaptation.
