The Commission funds Standard Action Projects that help meet the EU's target of cutting net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030. Eligible areas include recovery and recycling of fluorinated gases, the shift to zero-emission road transport and other decarbonised transport modes, renewable-energy and energy-efficiency uptake, industrial and waste-sector emission cuts, and land, forest or coastal carbon-sink management, plus industrial carbon capture, use and storage.
