LymeX Visible Voices Prize

Pays up to $50,000 per prize from a $250,000 pool for Lyme disease education resources.

ClosedUS Department of Health and Human ServicesUnited States

Entrants submit through the online awards platform, and HHS runs an evaluation period before announcing winners. The $250,000 prize pool is split across multiple prizes worth up to $50,000 each, run under America COMPETES Act and HHS Challenge rules and led by HHS's Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health with CDC, FDA, NIH and LymeX affiliates.

The prize is for U.S. patients, caregivers, clinicians, and innovators working on Lyme and tickborne disease diagnosis. It asks entrants to build clear, trustworthy educational resources that turn new Lyme diagnostic information into something patients and clinicians can actually follow and use, even when the underlying science is complex.
