LymeX Healthathon

Pays a $250,000 prize pool for stories and insights from people living with Lyme disease.

ClosedUS Department of Health and Human ServicesUnited States

This is not a build-a-tool hackathon: a companion competition, the TOPx HHS Tech Sprint, is where HHS asks technologists to build AI-powered tools from open data, while the Healthathon specifically asks patients, caregivers and clinicians to contribute the lived-experience material that data alone can't capture. There are two lighter ways to take part beyond the CURE ID route: entrants without a fโ€ฆ

The healthathon is for patients, caregivers, and clinicians affected by Lyme and tickborne diseases in the US. It wants lived-experience stories, treatment experiences, and priority problems that can be turned into shared insights supporting peer-to-peer learning and better care navigation.
