MAKE IT Prize Strategies Track
Pays regional teams up to $250,000 to build a roadmap and secure manufacturer commitments for critical energy technology manufacturing in their community.
Phase 1 (Engage) asks for a narrative on the team and region, potential roadmap elements, and a community engagement plan; roughly 30 winners across two rounds get $50,000 each and advance automatically to Phase 2. Phase 2 (Create) asks for a concept roadmap built on the results of that community engagement, plus a list of potential regional manufacturers; around 20 winners get $100,000 each. Phasβ¦
The Strategies Track wants teams working to promote energy technology manufacturing activity in their own region -- building interest, engagement, and a roadmap toward a shovel-ready manufacturing facility. It's one of two tracks in the wider MAKE IT Prize, alongside the Facilities Track, which funds facilities directly.
