Pays innovators up to $100,000 in vouchers to work with a U.S. national laboratory.
DOE's Office of Technology Commercialization runs this as a single-phase HeroX call funded at $2.1 million overall. Up to 21 teams each receive a voucher worth up to $100,000, redeemable at one of eight named national laboratories: NREL, Sandia, Pacific Northwest, Los Alamos, Ames, Lawrence Berkeley, Argonne, and Oak Ridge.
