The Innovation Institute runs this as an ongoing, open solicitation rather than a dated competition, working alongside the Commonwealth's Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development and, where relevant, other MassTech divisions such as the Center for Advanced Manufacturing, the Massachusetts eHealth Institute and the MassCyberCenter. Open to capital projects led by organizations in Massachusetts that create a new technology, business, talent, capital or other ecosystem support program contributing to growth in the state's technology and innovation sectors. Priority goes to projects that build competitive advantage for existing and emerging industry clusters and improve job growth, business formation and other innovation-economy indicators.
