European Innovation Procurement Awards
Awards public and private buyers up to EUR 75,000 for procurement practices and strategies that drive innovation uptake across the EU.
Within each of the two categories, entries are judged against five criteria: how far the procurement shifts buying toward innovation itself (Transformation), whether the approach is replicable and scalable elsewhere (Uptake), the depth of cooperation behind it with partners such as universities or other public bodies (Collaboration), how it opens procurement markets to innovative SMEs and startups…
The awards look for public and private buyers, and the individuals or legal entities supporting them, whose innovation-procurement practices or strategies turn research and development into deployed, replicable solutions. One category specifically rewards procurement that advances the Net Zero Industry Act, such as circular, energy-efficient or renewable-energy solutions.
