ICT researchers may use their expertise in other disciplines, or researchers from other fields may apply their expertise to ICT. Applicants must be ‘hopping’ into or from one of the ICT research areas covered by this funding opportunity. The funder will not fund replacement salary costs at the home institution, project co-leads or project partners from overseas or in industry, or equipment costing more than £25,000.
