STFC invites applications for funding for five core summer schools taking place in 2027. The supported schools are the Introductory Course in Astronomy, BUSSTEPP, the Introductory Course in Solar and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, High Energy Physics, and Nuclear Physics UK.

Support is limited to the Introductory Course in Astronomy, BUSSTEPP, the Introductory Course in Solar and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics UK. Summer schools must align with the STFC core science programme, including astronomy, particle physics, nuclear physics and accelerator science. Other summer school applications and online training events will not be considered.
