The opportunity is focused on understanding trust and confidence in policing in the UK. It will fund innovative workstreams and activities and a Flexible Fund for small research projects or pilots. It will not fund associated studentships, conventional large scale surveys and public opinion polls, research that makes a purely theoretical or methodological contribution to academic debates, or projects not primarily focused on trust and confidence in UK policing.
