F26AS00105 National Fish Passage Program
Funds removing dams, culverts and other barriers so fish and rivers reconnect.
An old culvert or dam doesn't just block a fish β it can cut off an entire river system from the habitat upstream, and a lot of the country's ageing water infrastructure was never built with that in mind.

Removing or replacing barriers to fish passage β obsolete infrastructure, culverts, floodplain restoration, fishways β delivered through Fish and Wildlife Service field offices in partnership with state and local agencies, Tribes, other federal agencies, non-governmental organisations or private landowners.
