The Defense Security Cooperation University exists to build and share knowledge about how the United States works with foreign militaries and partners — the everyday relationships, training and assistance that add up to what the Pentagon calls security cooperation. This notice is DSCU's standing invitation to researchers who want to study that world directly.

Evidence-, theory- and data-building research on security cooperation (the Young Institute track) or on the U.S. interagency irregular-warfare community (the IWC track), producing unclassified, publicly accessible research products. Open to individual researchers, academic and research institutions, and federally funded research and development centers under either track.
