The Michigan-Israel Business Accelerator (MIBA) organizes recurring trade delegations and B2B/B2G matchmaking events connecting Michigan and Israeli companies, institutions, and government entities. Since MIBA launched its delegation program in 2018, more than 150 Michigan delegates have participated in curated visits to Israel, each featuring structured B2B and B2G meetings alongside cultural immersion designed to support commercial relationship formation. MIBA also facilitates reverse delegations and arranges curated matchmaking introductions for Israeli companies seeking Michigan partners, customers, or distribution channels without requiring travel.

The program is open to for-profit companies, nonprofits, universities, research organizations, and individuals from both Michigan/US and Israel, making it one of MIBA's broadest-eligibility offerings. No cash grant is provided; the service is free facilitation by MIBA's team. MIBA serves as Michigan's designated lead for export opportunities to Israel, providing market-sector analysis, partner identification, and curated introductions to Israeli buyers and customers. Complementary event formats include the Connecting Communities Series (in-person and virtual networking), Experience Innovation pitch events where Israeli companies present to Michigan audiences, and a monthly Spotlight on Innovation newsletter featuring Israeli technology companies.

Companies or institutions seeking to join a trade delegation or arrange bilateral matchmaking should contact MIBA at Delegations@MichiganIsrael.com. There is no published application form or competitive selection process; participation is coordinated directly with MIBA's team based on commercial fit and delegation schedule availability. MIBA prioritizes sectors where Michigan has strong industrial clusters — mobility, advanced manufacturing, health tech, and energy — though cross-sector introductions are facilitated as well. The service is particularly relevant for Michigan exporters seeking Israeli market entry and for Israeli companies seeking a curated introduction to Michigan corporate and government buyers.

Curated Michigan-Israel trade delegations and B2B/B2G matchmaking connecting companies and organizations on both sides to facilitate cross-border commercial partnerships.
