The fellowship is for PhD candidates and established researchers whose work directly connects to Romania, in fields including visual arts, architecture, literature, cultural studies, social sciences and economics. It leans strongly toward humanities and interdisciplinary work engaging with Romanian society, culture or history, and applicants whose topic doesn't clearly connect to Romania are unlikely to be selected.
