Funds energy efficiency, renewables, climate adaptation, and environmental protection across Czech Republic.
Operational Programme Environment (OP ŽP) runs from 2021 to 2027 with a EUR 2.4 billion budget co-funded by the EU Cohesion Fund and ERDF. It covers six areas: energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, climate change adaptation, water supply and sewerage, circular economy, and nature and pollution protection. SFŽP acts as the intermediary body; the Managing Authority is the Ministry of the Environment (MŽP). Applicants submit through the IS KP21+ portal. Co-funding reaches up to 95% of eligible costs (exceptionally 100%). Eligible entities include municipalities, state and local governments, research institutes, educational establishments, legal and physical persons, and non-profits. Individual calls are tendered on www.opzp.cz.
