SPRIND Challenges are open competitions targeting a specific disruptive breakthrough — each Challenge defines the problem, opens applications, then selects up to 10 teams for Stage 1 funding. Teams that meet milestones are invited to Stage 2 and Stage 3, with award sizes escalating sharply at each gate. Typical three-stage structure runs 24 months total.
