Danish Lecturer Scheme (Lektoratsordningen)

Funds visiting lectureships and teaching resources in Danish language and culture abroad.

Established in 1937, the Danish Lecturer Scheme (Lektoratsordningen) promotes Danish language, literature, and culture internationally by subsidising visiting lectureships at foreign universities. Currently 15 universities host co-funded visiting lecturers in Danish, out of over 60 worldwide offering Danish programmes to more than 2,000 students. Foreign universities may apply to establish a new co-funded visiting lectureship; positions must have Danish language instruction as a central component and require the applying university to contribute co-funding. A teaching-materials and field-trips grant track is also available to all universities offering Danish programmes, on a rolling basis via application form.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
