Innowwide
Funds single firm market testing for companies expanding into non European markets.
Innowwide sits under the EUREKA Network but differs from the rest of the portfolio because it is centrally funded by the EU through the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. It helps SMEs and startups test whether an innovative product or service can work in a non-EU market. The award is a flat EUR 60,000 for a six-month project. Only one SME applies, no consortium is required, and the company hires a local subcontractor in the target market, which may be in Africa, the Americas, Asia, or Oceania. Eligible applicants are for-profit firms registered in the countries listed in the programme record, and the call runs once a year. It suits companies that need market evidence before committing more capital to a new geography. Strong applications tend to frame a narrow commercial question, show why local expertise matters, and use the six-month window to gather practical data on demand, regulation, or route to market. The programme is especially useful when technical readiness is already credible and the missing proof point is commercial fit.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
