FINCOME — Compétences Marocaines Du Monde
Supports diaspora scientists from abroad returning to Morocco for short and medium-term research missions.
FINCOME is a Moroccan government mobility program run with CNRST, MESRSI, and the ministry responsible for foreign affairs and Moroccans living abroad. It brings Moroccan diaspora scientists and experts back to Morocco for research and expertise missions at universities, public research bodies, and socio-economic actors working with innovation. The 2026 edition accepts submissions from 4 February through 31 October 2026 on a rolling basis. It supports short stays of up to 15 days and medium stays of up to 60 days, with travel and subsistence covered by CNRST. The program is aimed at Moroccan scientists and experts living abroad rather than at domestic project teams. The best fit is a diaspora specialist who already has a host institution in Morocco and a concrete assignment that can be completed in a short visit or a medium stay. It is a practical route for bringing external expertise into a Moroccan lab, university, or applied research setting, especially when the visit can translate directly into hands-on work.
