Green Industry Support Program (Yeşil Sanayi Destek Programı)

The Green Industry Support Program is KOSGEB's Turkish grant route for manufacturing SMEs pursuing green transformation. It backs renewable energy, resource efficiency, waste management, and circular-economy work, and the current call is supported by the World Bank. The program has two components. Solar energy investments can receive up to 14,000,000 TRY at a 60 percent support rate, while clean and circular economy projects can receive up to 4,000,000 TRY at 70 percent, with stronger rates in earthquake-affected provinces reaching 90 percent in some cases. Eligible expenses include machinery, equipment, software, services, and personnel, and the project period runs 8 to 12 months. It is aimed at manufacturing SMEs registered and operating in Turkey, so the strongest applications are operational rather than exploratory. KOSGEB expects applicants to frame a specific green investment plan, and the two-call structure means solar and circular-economy cases are handled separately. The program is a practical route for firms that need capital for decarbonization and process efficiency rather than broad innovation support.
