Parkinson's Research Ventures (formerly Parkinson's Virtual Biotech) is a global drug-discovery vehicle co-led by Parkinson's UK and the Parkinson's Foundation (US). Operating as an active venture investor rather than a grant-making body, it supports Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A rounds for high-potential pre-clinical and clinical programmes targeting disease modification or significant symptom management in Parkinson's. The vehicle has committed over £30 million to date, with 60+ global partners including research organisations, universities, biotech companies, and trial centres. There is no open-call RFP mechanism — engagement begins through a business-development inquiry route ('Work with Parkinson's Research Ventures').
