PRIDCO Training Grants (WIOA Pass-Through)
Supports Reimbursable on-the-job and customized training grants for new hires at PRIDCO-promoted companies funded via federal WIOA.
PRIDCO administers reimbursable grants for on-the-job training and customized job training for employees of PRIDCO-promoted companies establishing or expanding operations in Puerto Rico. Funding flows through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA); PRIDCO functions as the local project sponsor and administrator. Training costs are paid upfront by the employer and reimbursed by PRIDCO/the state at a share that is not publicly detailed. Municipal-government training support may be layered on top.
