The Parkinson's Foundation is a US 501(c)(3) public charity formed in 2016 through the merger of the National Parkinson Foundation and the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. It funds Parkinson's research worldwide and has supported more than 670 scientists since 2010.

Its research portfolio spans fellowships and early-career awards, awards for independent investigators, awards for institutions, and awards for clinicians. Current routes include Industry Research Grants up to $500,000, Postdoctoral Fellowships at $140,000 to $160,000 over two years, Launch Awards up to $400,000, Independent Investigator Awards up to $300,000, Early Career Clinical Awards up to $150,000, and Summer Student and Visiting Scholar Awards up to $5,000.

Most calls are open internationally and run through ProposalCentral. The foundation is strongest for investigators with Parkinson's disease projects that fit a defined career stage or clinical lane, and it should be kept distinct from the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which runs a separate grant portfolio.
