Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC)
Administers Qatar Business Incubation Center with startup incubation, acceleration, and investor-ready pathways for Qatar entrepreneurs.
Qatar Business Incubation Center, or QBIC, is Qatar's public startup incubator and accelerator. It was founded by Qatar Development Bank and Nama to help entrepreneurs build viable businesses in Qatar, and it sits inside a tiered model that moves founders from early validation to scale.
Its financing is not grant-based. The Lean Startup Program offers up to QAR 250,000 in equity-style investment for an 11-week incubation track, the broader incubation path can offer up to QAR 100,000 in equity financing during Activate and Accelerate, and scale-stage companies can access loans through QDB Al Dhameen up to QAR 4 million. Lean Acceleration is the post-revenue track, and Lean Manufacturing serves product-based businesses that need a structured route into production.
Applications run through F6S, and the program logic favors founders who can show a real market problem, a distinct solution, commitment to raise investment, and enough team capability to execute. QBIC is best read as a startup gatekeeper and financing bridge for companies building in Qatar, not as a grantmaker.
