The Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC), founded by Qatar Development Bank and Nama, operates the Lean Acceleration Program as its growth-stage track for established Qatar startups with validated products and paying customers. The program runs as a 16-week cohort structured around sprint-based modules covering growth strategy, product development, and market expansion. Unlike the Lean Startup Program, this track requires applicants to have a product already live in the market, demonstrated traction through revenue or active paying customers, at least one full-time founder, and a minimum of two employees. Participants are required to arrive with sufficient internal budget to fund their own product and marketing sprints during the 16-week program.

The 2026 Lean Acceleration cohort is accepting applications via the F6S portal linked from qbic.qa/en/applications. No specific 2026 application close date is published on QBIC's program pages; applicants must check the F6S listing for the current deadline. Eligible applicants must be for-profit businesses registered and operating in Qatar. The prior 2025 cohort ran from February 6 through June 5 with a Demo Day at close; the 2025 kick-off date was listed as October 30, 2025, suggesting a similar Q4 start for the 2026 cycle.

QBIC's Smart Financing model describes the Accelerate stage as the point in its tiered pathway where incubatees who progress from prior QBIC programs may access up to QAR 100,000 in QBIC equity financing; this equity access is tied to QBIC's internal staging criteria and is not guaranteed to all Lean Acceleration Program participants. QBIC's overall mandate is to strengthen Qatar's private-sector entrepreneurship ecosystem in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030, with a focus on scalable companies that can attract follow-on private investment.

A 16-week growth acceleration program for established, post-revenue Qatar startups, with potential access to up to QAR 100,000 in QBIC equity financing during the program.
