QSTP — Qatar Science & Technology Park
Invests in Qatar Science and Technology Park by expanding incubation and startup growth support for ventures in Qatar.
QSTP, the Qatar Science and Technology Park, is a Qatar Foundation entity based at Education City in Doha. It supports deep-tech startups in Qatar and the wider WANA region through incubation, acceleration, and co-investment rather than through public grantmaking.
Its capital tools center on the $30 million Tech Venture Fund, which co-invests alongside a lead investor, and the QSTP Incubate track, which offers up to QAR 100,000 in subsidies with a 1.5 percent SAFE-style equity component. The incubator has an entry track of three months and a full incubation track of 12 months, while the themed accelerators cover FemTech, WaterTech, and AgriTech, with Scale Ups and Enterprise serving later-stage companies.
The strongest fit is a team with a Qatar base, an active lead or co-investor, and a defensible deep-tech proposition that can show a large step-change in performance. QSTP is also explicit that its national R&D grant programs sit elsewhere, so the park should be used for startup support, not as a substitute for QRDI Council funding.
