JobsOhio
Supports Ohio job creation through workforce incentives, entrepreneurship grants, and employer partnerships.
JobsOhio is Ohio's private nonprofit economic development corporation, established in 2011 to attract, retain, and grow businesses across the state. It is funded by Ohio Lottery liquor profits through the JobsOhio Beverage System and operates separately from the Ohio Department of Development.
The organisation runs grants, loans, and incentive programs for nine targeted industries, including advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, energy and chemicals, financial services, food and agribusiness, healthcare, logistics and distribution, and technology. The routes in this record cover the JobsOhio Small Business Grant at up to USD 50,000, JobsOhio Vibrant Communities at up to USD 1 million, the JobsOhio Relocation Incentive at up to USD 225,000, the Ohio Site Inventory Program at up to USD 2 million, and the JobsOhio Growth Fund Loan at up to USD 5 million. It also backs research and development centres, workforce projects, and inclusion-oriented support.
JobsOhio is a fit for companies that can show job creation, payroll growth, fixed-asset investment, or location impact. The process is business-driven and selective rather than a general open call, so projects with a clear site, hiring plan, or expansion case tend to read best.
