Provides Swiss climate innovation companies with Technology Fund loan guarantees to unlock bank financing for emission reduction projects.
The Technology Fund issues rolling loan guarantees of up to CHF 3 million for up to 10 years to innovative Swiss SMEs commercialising climate-protection technologies. The guarantee covers loans from Swiss-domiciled banks or other suitable lenders, reducing their credit risk so companies gain access to loan capital they could not otherwise obtain, without diluting equity ownership.
